What reaches us, what stays with your team, and which services your deployment contacts.
PodDrop and your team’s deployment
PodDrop is a GoldenBerry Studio product. We operate poddrop.io and provide the software and deployment licences. Your organisation operates its own PodDrop installation and controls its accounts, source updates, scripts, audio, backups and retention. Contact your organisation’s operator about data held in that installation.
Website visits and support
Our hosting and network services process connection information such as IP address, requested URL and browser headers to deliver and protect this website. The public examples contain fictional updates. Playing one requests the sample audio; it does not give us access to your team’s tools.
If you contact us, we receive your email address and the information you send so we can respond. Please omit source updates, recordings, licence keys and provider credentials from support messages unless we agree a suitable way to handle them.
Payments and deployment licensing
Stripe handles checkout and payment details. Purchase records include contact and billing information, subscription status and payment references. Coolbeans, another GoldenBerry product, issues and validates deployment licence keys and uses the buyer’s email address for licence delivery and management.
Your installation contacts app.coolbeans.tools with its licence key and an SDK-generated installation identifier for activation, validation and release. These requests do not include your source updates, scripts, audio, show names, teammate identities or generation counts. Network requests also carry connection information such as the source IP address.
The SDK stores activation information and signed licence data in a durable volume on your server. It manages refreshes and reuses the saved licence when a check is inconclusive. Initial activation needs a connection; this release is not offered as an air-gapped product. An expired or revoked licence pauses generation, while existing episodes remain readable and exportable subject to your retention settings.
Services chosen by your operator
Generation sends the necessary source material and scripts to the AI endpoint your operator configures. An external provider therefore receives that content under its own terms. Use an approved private endpoint when it must remain within your network.
Configured delivery destinations such as Slack, Discord, Telegram or a webhook receive the episode title and listening link, plus the information included in the delivery payload. Your mail provider handles account and verification emails. Your database and object storage hold the application’s data.
Listeners need network access to your deployment. Anyone who has a listening link and that access can listen until the link expires or is revoked. Your operator controls authentication, network restrictions, provider choices, retention and backups.
Retention and requests
Website, support, purchase and licensing records serve different purposes; deleting an episode in your deployment does not delete billing or licence records. Records needed for ongoing service, accounting or resolving disputes may need to be retained.
For questions about information GoldenBerry holds, or to request access, correction or deletion, email hello@goldenberry.so. For team content and accounts, contact your deployment’s operator. We update this page when the described data flows change.
