Decisions, changed plans, blockers. Paste the updates into the studio, or have your agent send the selected material in one batch.

Have it ready for their morning.

Schedule collection in your existing workflow and allow time for generation before people head out. PodDrop creates the audio and delivers the link when it is ready. Script review is optional.

Everyone else just presses play.

The link arrives in your chosen channel and opens a browser player. Listeners need no PodDrop account or app. They can download the MP3, too.

Every plan: API access, script review, standard AI voice, MP3 downloads, and delivery to Slack, Discord, or your webhook. One account owner; no listener seat charges.

How the limits work

Minutes and episode limits apply together, across all your shows and API keys. Successful audio uses its actual duration. Deleting it does not restore used minutes. Delivery retries do not use more minutes. Paid allowances reset each billing period, with no rollover or automatic overage charges. Plan changes take effect immediately, with prorated charges or credits shown before confirmation; usage does not reset. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period. After a downgrade, the oldest shows and destinations up to your new limit stay eligible for generation and delivery; other saved content remains accessible.

For API batches, the source character limit counts the compact JSON event array, including source names and links. Queued work reserves minutes before it starts. If generation fails, those minutes are released; the attempt still counts toward request limits. Bounded retries and the included provider spend budget protect against runaway attempts. Long sources, script revisions and failed attempts also consume that budget, so it can be reached before your audio allowance. If that protection pauses generation, your source drafts stay saved.

Download episodes you want to keep before retention ends. Delivered listening links expire after 7 days and can be revoked earlier. Anyone holding a link can open it; revocation cannot recall a downloaded copy.

API access allows 60 requests per minute per key, within a shared 120-request limit for the owner’s API and studio traffic. Personal provider keys are optional and billed by that provider. They do not increase your hosted allowance. Paid plan availability is shown in the studio before checkout.

A FEW GOOD
QUESTIONS.

Does everyone on the team need an account?

One teammate sets up the briefing and its delivery. Everyone else can open the listening link in a browser without a PodDrop account or app. Anyone with the link can listen until it expires or is revoked.

Does PodDrop connect to my tools?

Your agent or automation chooses and sends the updates. PodDrop does not read your Slack, Discord, or project tools automatically. Send a batch through the API, or paste the same material into the studio.

What happens after I send a batch?

PodDrop writes a script, generates AI audio, and sends a listening link to your configured destinations. Slack, Discord, Telegram, and signed HTTPS webhooks are supported. You can optionally pause for script review before audio generation.

Can I run a daily or weekly briefing?

Yes. Schedule your agent, n8n workflow, or another automation to gather updates and submit a batch when you want an episode. Timing and collection stay in your automation; PodDrop handles the podcast and delivery.

How do agents connect?

Create a show-scoped API key, send a title and a list of updates, and give each batch a unique retry key. The app includes copyable examples. Repeating the same batch and key returns the same episode while it is retained. Open the API documentation ↗

Who can listen, and how long does the link last?

Delivery links can be opened by anyone who has the link and expire after seven days, or sooner if the episode is deleted by its retention policy. You can revoke a link from the episode. Only send source material you want included in that shared recap.

What do I need to generate audio?

An account and a show. Hosted plans include script and standard voice generation, with a small one-time trial. Personal provider keys are optional and billed separately by the provider. Download your MP3 or deliver a listening link to your workflow.
